Warning: Keep out of Reach of Children

When you see that warning on stuff you usually keep it out of reach of children. Well about a week ago Ella and Zach had gone swimming during the day while I was at work. We have a swim bag where we keep all of our lotion and other stuff for the pool. Well when I wasn't looking Ella got the bag and grabbed the lotion out. She loves to put lotion on because Mommy puts it on everyday so she has to do it too. I was in the other room for a minute, and came out to find her covered in sunscreen. She was starting to cry because she got some in her eye, then she used her sunscreen covered hands to rub her eyes and got more in them. So I ran and put her in the bath, and just let the water run into her eyes so we could get it out. Also I had to wash her hair 3 times and the sunscreen still wouldn't come out. Her eyes were getting worse to the point that she could barely open them. So we eventually had to call the poison control to see if there was anything else we could do or need to be worried about. They told us to rinse water not rub in her eyes, and then just let her go to sleep so they can rest. We did just that and in the morning her eyes were all better. It was the saddest thing ever, and now we make sure that the lotion is really out of her reach. We are so lucky it wasn't worse then it was and she is okay. Let's consider this lesson learned for me.

Not too sure what is happening

I think it is starting to sting
